The A3 Lucipac: Maintaining Cleanliness with Ease

The A3 Lucipac test is a top-of-the-line hygiene testing system, which detects contamination within 10 seconds. Just one swap and it detects ATP, ADP and AMP to give you the whole picture. But how exactly does it work? What do you need to do with it?

Lucipac A3 and Lumitester

Firstly, clean the equipment as normal, then we start our test. Grab the A3 Lucipac tube with the green handle and take the swab out. Swab the surface you want to test.

Make sure that when swabbing:

  • To have the swab slightly bent to use its entire surface area,
  • To swab a 10cm x 10cm surface as the picture below indicates.

After swabbing, insert the swab back into the tube, making sure to push the top all the way down. Then, shake the tube until liquid interacts with the sample at the bottom of the tube. The reagents should be completely dissolved. Then, while holding the Lumitester upright, slide the tube into the Lumitester, close it and press “enter”. After 10 seconds the number of RLU’s will come up on the screen, if that number is greater than 500 then the surface must be recleaned until the number is below 500, which indicates a clean surface.

Results can be analyzed and visualized with the paired app. More details on this as well as a full in-depth guide can be found in the video below.
