ProfilGate Model XS: An Innovative, New Solution for AGVs
How can the ProfilGate Model XS help your automated guided vehicle (or AGV) needs? Well, first you have to realize that AGVs are here to stay. With a reduced error rate and greater efficiency, AGVs undoubtedly make any logistical process more productive. However, the increased adoption of such vehicles introduces another avenue for contamination. Wheels and rollers are common carriers of dirt or germs, which can be especially detrimental if carried into cleaned work areas. Contamination is the last thing we all want.
AGVs require safe operation and optimal conditions to ensure peak performance, dirty and damaged floors can impede the vehicle’s operation, leading to avoidable malfunctions and downtime.
It is often up to cleaners in the workplace to clean both AGVs and their surroundings on a regular basis. This is both a time consuming and error prone process.
So, you may be wondering, is there a simpler solution to clean a wide variety of AGVs?
With the use of the Profligate system, a passive and bespoke, clean driving zone can be implemented seamlessly. The new Profilgate Model XS is designed specifically for AGVs common in the workplace. It has closed-mesh brush gates which allow for narrow rollers to travel smoothly over the cleaning area. Contributing to a low-vibration crossing and ensuring that the sensitive technology within each AGV remains protected.
Advantages of the ProfileGate model XS include:
The reliable cleaning of rollers
Reduced dirt carryover
Easy integration of the system into existing transport routes requiring no additional programming
Suitable for any navigation methods

Dirt Trap
To prevent dirt from spreading within production and logistics halls, it is collected in a collecting tray under the cleaning mats.
Choosing the right tub height depends on three crucial factors:
Requirements
Before making a decision, it must be clear what the site looks like, whether cleaning should take place inside, outside or both, and how wide the passageways are.
Vehicles and frequency
Which vehicles cross the clean-walking zone? Do shoe treads also need to be cleaned? How many crossings are made per day? If the frequency is higher, we recommend using a deeper tray because more dirt can be collected.
Maintenance intervals
The deeper the tray, the more dirt can fit in it and the longer the cleaning interval. This saves you work because the drip trays need to be cleaned less often.
Customizable Sampling Plans
Users, sampling plans, and test points can all be configured through the Lumitester Smart app, including pictures of each specific test point
